Drilling Advances to Southwest at Million Mountain with Lengthy Interval Reported: 225.9 Meters @ 1.05 G/T AU
March 5, 2007
VANCOUVER, B.C. – SACRE-COEUR MINERALS, LTD. (the "Company") today announced that it has received assays from Loring Laboratories Inc. of Georgetown Guyana for eight additional drill holes at its Million Mountain Project located in the Middle Puruni River region of Guyana. Three of the holes reported herein (MM50-06, MM51-06, and MM52-06) were drilled to advance the resource area to the Southwest. The five remaining holes were drilled to the North and West of the holes reported in the Company’s press release of January 10, 2007.
The three holes advancing to the Southwest are located 50 meters (MM50-06 & MM51-06) and 100 meters (MM52-06), respectively, Southwest of the initial discovery holes (MM01-05 & MM02-05 reported previously). These holes encountered gold mineralization consistent with the character of the Million Mountain deposit in that they encountered long intervals of moderate grade punctuated with several high grade shoots.

Drill holes MM44-06, MM45-06, MM46-06, MM47-06, and MM49-06 were drilled in the North-Northwest corner of the prospective area in an attempt to follow the deposit beneath the Million Mountain Break, a regional scale thrust feature striking 252 degrees true and dipping to the North-Northwest at 37 degrees. Hole MM 49-06, the Southern-most of these, intersected gold mineralization at 114 meters as reported above. The other holes collared further to the North-Northwest were too far into un-mineralized hanging wall of the thrust to reach prospective host rock and did not encounter significant mineralization.

The latest drill results expand the mineralized body to the South and West, with some very long intercepts of continuous gold mineralization at modest grades, containing numerous higher grade shoots. This style of mineralization has been characteristic of this resource body from the outset.
According to Irwin Olian, CEO of the Company, “It is gratifying to see a continuation of the lengthy gold intervals as we move our drilling throughout the zone. We will continue with infill drilling as well as drilling to expand the perimeters of the zone with a view toward establishing a meaningful 43-101 compliant resource as soon as practicable.”
Assay Data
The Company uses preliminary results from Loring Laboratories – Guyana, a subsidiary of Loring Laboratories, Ltd. of Calgary Alberta qualitatively to help guide its ongoing drilling program because of expedient availability of data, but relies on ALS Chemex for final results as Chemex is an ISO certified facility. The results presented herein are produced by Loring. These results are inclusive of the assay of the coarse metallic fraction composited with the assay for the -200 mesh pulp to produce a total contained gold assay. The results reported herein are produced by Loring Laboratories – Guyana, and are therefore considered preliminary. Final assays determined by ALS Chemex, will only be reported if they differ significantly from the preliminary results determined by Loring.
Drilling
Drilling reported herein was completed utilizing the Company’s Atlas Copco CS 14 core drill operated by Company employees. All holes were continuously cored utilizing HQ equipment through the saprolite and then reduced to NQ for coring un-weathered rock. Core recovery in saprolite has remained in excess of 90%, and approaches 100% in un-weathered rock.
